Greater Manchester based REPIC and EMERGE Recycling have teamed up to provide reuse and recycling for the new Recycle Your Electricals initiative, and welcome the campaign’s giant toaster (6.8ft by 12.8ft) for the first time to the North of England.

REPIC leads the charge in the UK on International E-Waste Day

REPIC with support from Recycle Your Electricals is encouraging consumers to review the electrical appliances they have in their homes and pass any unwanted items on for reuse or recycling, with ten new e-waste collection sites opening on Friday 14th October – International E-Waste Day (IEWD).

REPIC CELEBRATES THIRD INTERNATIONAL E-WASTE DAY

REPIC, the largest household WEEE producer compliance scheme in the UK, has joined almost 100 organisations from 50 countries worldwide to take part in the third International E-Waste Day (IEWD) taking place on Wednesday 14th October.

Survey uncovers the generation gap when it comes to selling and recycling electrical items

UK homeowners aged between 16 and 29 are less likely than those over 60 to recycle electrical items that are either broken or in good working order, preferring instead to sell them online.
