Binn Group and REPIC joined forces to make a substantial contribution to the Strathardle Highland Games and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA). The heart-warming charity endeavour was part of a nationwide event organised to mark the 15th anniversary of electrical recycling in the UK.

As a fitting legacy to REPIC’s 15 year WEEE Cycle Network event a combined total of £15,000 will be donated to local charities associated with the event route.

As a member of the WEEE Forum, REPIC is taking part in the 2023 International E-waste Day (IEWD) campaign. The 2023 campaign, under the slogan “You can recycle anything with a plug, battery or cable!”, aims to highlight the issue of invisible WEEE – the electrical products that often go unrecognised and are not properly recycled as WEEE.

Spotlight on the reuse of unwanted electricals as REPIC WEEE Cycle event departs from ILM Highland, Alness Scotland.

Shining a spotlight on the achievements of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) sector since the implementation of the first WEEE Regulations 15 years ago. REPIC is leading the sector on a 15 day, 15 location, 15 great stories, WEEE Cycle Network Event, from Friday 2nd June – Friday 16th June 2023.
