The team at REPIC were delighted to take home the Campaign of the Year award at the prestigious Let’s Recycle Awards for Excellence earlier this month.

REPIC’s winning entry was based around its celebration of 15 years since the start of the WEEE regulations, and all that has been done over this time. To commemorate this milestone, REPIC arranged an 850 mile WEEE Cycle Network event, inviting partners from across the industry to travel from the Highlands of Scotland to Sittingbourne in Kent. Along the way, the riders visited 15 different locations, all involved in the reuse, repair and recycling of waste electricals, donating to local causes in each location.

The REPIC WEEE Cycle Network event aimed to highlight the importance of responsible electrical waste management and promote the sector’s transition to a more circular economy. By engaging various stakeholders, this event has played a vital role in raising awareness about the challenges and opportunities in the sector. Through its journey, it has not only celebrated the accomplishments of the past but also shown there is an exciting future ahead, focused on sustainability and innovation.

Commenting on the success, Graeme Milne, REPIC Chief Executive said:

“I was delighted to accept this award on behalf of REPIC. The event was an incredible two weeks of team building, involving our Service Partners and corporate friends, creating great industry feedback and stimulating many positive conversations. In addition, we donated £15,000 to good causes along the way. Leading the REPIC business and our superb team is an honour of which I am incredibly proud, and I look forward to more successes to come.
