Why REPIC?

REPIC operates approved UK producer compliance schemes for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), Portable Batteries and Packaging and also supports producers with their wider environmental and sustainability objectives.

Producer compliance in the UK and Europe

REPIC was established by a national consortium made up of many of the UK’s leading household electrical brands, to support them in meeting their UK producer responsibility obligations for Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE). As a not for profit company supporting over 380 brands today, REPIC offers market leading producer compliance services throughout the UK. We are also a founding member of WEEE Europe, allowing us to work with our members across boarders alongside our European counterparts.

Giving producers a real voice

Producers of EEE, Portable Batteries and Packaging do not have to navigate producer responsibility legislation alone. REPIC was founded by EEE producers to ensure that they have a real say in the way REPIC is run. We pride ourselves on listening to our producer members and then simplifying the complexity of compliance. Our members benefit from economies of scale in terms of operations and recycling costs, as well as having the opportunity to be involved in shaping future legislation.

Experts in producer compliance and sustainability

The REPIC team has extensive experience in the WEEE and wider waste industry, bringing together first-hand knowledge of all areas of the sector. We are dedicated to delivering industry-leading producer responsibility solutions for our members and first-class services for our local authority and reuse partners.
